Steve Popp was raised among the buckled and long-horned of Commerce, Texas, whose authentic flavor not only helped him avoid many a bar fight but shaped his philosophy and an award-winning career in advertising. By being honest and finding the truth about a brand, Steve introduces people and products in a way that gets conversations started and results in long-lasting friendships.

Steve began his career in 1985 at The Richards Group in Dallas. It was there he learned that every detail matters, whispering can be as effective as screaming, and you must first get someone’s attention if you want to talk to them. Steve was then recruited to come to Missouri to work for a well known food agency where he worked with several big brand food companies and their restaurant customers. Creating hundreds of campaigns over the years, he honed his strategic gear working for clients such as Campbell Soup, Mars, McCormick, Pier 1 Imports, Pepsico, Smuckers, TGI Fridays, and Tyson.

Steve has had a lifelong love for technology and is constantly exploring new applications and opportunities for clients. In 2009, he started Popp Brand Advertising (www.poppbrand.com) to demonstrate his talent and knowledge could be successfully translated into an honest, agile microagency. In 2011, Steve joined The Medical Package LLC after aligning philosophical approaches and strategic creative needs became evident.

Steve has a war chest full of shiny trophies from places like The American Advertising Federation, Communication Arts, CLIO, The NY Art Directors Club, Print magazine and The NY One Show but his greatest satisfaction comes from a client telling him he helped their business grow.
